Mrs. Leona Smith was a remarkable lady who will be missed by all who knew here. She was a talented crocheter whose crochet needlework could artistically create beautiful afghans that she would give to family and friends. We were blessed and honored to receive one and we will cherish it.
She was kind, courteous, and a joy to visit. She always welcomed a prayer together before I would leave her nursing home room. Although she was an amazing hundred years old, one would probably guess her to be much younger. Her beautiful smile, twinkling eyes, and conversation depicted a lovely lady who loved people. We will miss her dearly. Billy and Gail Booth
