Jessie Marie Burdette age 91 of Sanford, Texas died at her home surrounded by her family, on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was born December 18, 1927 in Okolona, Arkansas to Effie Marie Parks Hasley and William Pin Hasley. Jessie was preceded in death by her two husband, Lestel Charles King and Buddy Hollar; two sons, Paul Wayne King and Dale Lee King; one step-son, Richard Burdette; two daughters, Violet Marie Bisbee, Darlene King; one step-daughter, Levada Burdette; three brothers, John Hardy Hasley, Ronald Gene Hasley, and Jake Hasley; two sisters, Gertrude McCain and Beatrice Robinson.
Jessie is survived by her husband of 22 years, George Burdette of Sanford, Texas; one son, Charles (Audrey) King of Sulphur, Louisiana; one step-son, Ron (Debbie) Hollar of Fritch, Texas; one daughter, Sue Price of Hazen, Arkansas; three step-daughters, Jana (Terry) Turner of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Debbie (Mike) Clem of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Charlotte (Kent) Beedle of Sanford, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in De Valls Bluff with Bro. Allen Minton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in De Valls Bluff.
This beautiful lady Beautiful Soul meant the world to me she took me in when I had no one else she was my grandmother but she was more like a friend she helped me a lot I learned a lot of things from her I will sorely miss her
