
Edith Nell Kee, age 74, of Hazen, Arkansas (Center Point Community), went to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Edith was born on February 29th, 1952 to the late Lee and Pearlene Weems. She married the love of her life, Larry Kee, on February 28, 1969. They were happily married for 49 years and were blessed with three wonderful children; Cindy Murdock, husband James; James Kee; Jamie Evans, husband Eric, all of Hazen; also her special friend-like a son to her, Jeremy Williams. She has a precious granddaughter, Madison Wethington; and a special grandson, Casey Wethington.
Edith was known as “Momma Kee” when she kept children at her home, which she did for many years. She was also a great caregiver and loved all of her residents. Edith was a wonderful Nana. Edith loved watching and cheering on Casey when he participated in the demolition derbies, she was Casey’s biggest fan.
Edith is survived by her brother Larry Weems, wife Judy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her grand dogs. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry; her parents, Lee and Pearlene Weems; and brother, Donnie Weems.
Edith never met a stranger and was very loved by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Edith’s home, open to family, friends, and guests beginning Monday, April 20th until Wednesday morning, April 22nd.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026 beginning at 2:00 P.M. held at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church north of Hazen. Interment will be in Center Point Cemetery.

Edith was a wonderful person and loved everyone. She showed God’s love to everyone she met.
She was my Belk buddy! I always enjoyed seeing her and visiting with her!
