Verda May Culbertson, age 65, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 surrounded by her family. Verda was born on November 24, 1960 to William and Francis Williams. She loved her family greatly and cherished the time she spent with them. Verda especially loved watching her babies play baseball and football, she was always their biggest fan. She also enjoyed being outside gardening.
Verda was preceded in death by her father, William Bud Williams; two sisters, Ann Whitsett, and Cora James; one brother, Roy Williams; and her stepson, Michael Colony.
She is survived by her mother, Francis Williams of DeValls Bluff; her Daughters, Jodie (Mathew) Creppel of Ward, and Amanda (Michael) Stivers of Bismark; her Son, Alvin (Amber) Stivers Jr. of Lonoke; her Stepdaughter Deborah (Dee) Williams of DeValls Bluff; two sisters, Judy (Buddy) Stivers of Carlisle, and Debbie Creppel of Lonoke; her Brother Bubba (Christie) Williams of DeValls Bluff; her Grandchildren, Haley (Joe) Vance, Kyle Creppel, Cody (Michael) Creppel, Conner, Collin, & Kinley Stivers; her Great Grandchildren, Joseph (LJ) Vance Jr., Kaitlyn Vance, and Kyleigh Creppel; and a host of niece & nephews & cherished friends & extended family.
Visitation with be Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 beginning at 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen, Arkansas.
Funeral services for Verda will be Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 beginning at 11:00 A.M held at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen. Interment will follow in the Biscoe Cemetery.
