Zeak Staggs, 88, of Carlisle, died January 28, 2015. He was born August 26, 1926. Zeak was the youngest child of Will and Beulah Staggs. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a retiree of Riviana Foods and a deacon of Landmark Missionary Baptist church of Carlisle, Arkansas. Survivors are Evelyn, his wife of 68 years and two sons, Will (Amy) of North Little Rock and Bill (Vicki) of Benton; four grandchildren, Brent (Josie) Staggs, Kim (C.W.) Gardenhire, Lisa (Tony) Barker and Brian (Danielle) Staggs; nice great grandchildren, Savannah, Isabella, and Harper Staggs, Katlin, Garrett, and Carolina Gardenhire, Aubrey and Ryan Barker and Bennett Staggs. Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, from 1:30 to 2:30 and service at 2:30, both at Landmark Missionary Baptist church in Carlisle. Burial will follow at Walters Chapel Cemetery north of Carlisle. Memorials may be made to Landmark Missionary Baptist church.
