Ruth Bertie Raper age 88, of Hazen, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Ruth was born in Prairie County on March 3, 1926 the daughter of Julius V. Addison and Minnie Jernigan Addison.
Mrs. Raper was a life long resident of Prairie County, a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church of Hazen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Raper and a son, Marcus Raper.
Ruth is survived by three sons, Russell and Dewey Raper of Hazen and Tim Raper of Stuttgart; two daughters, Levone Nelson of Moro and Charlene Boddie of Richardson, Texas.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 26, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Hazen. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in the Center Point Cemetery.

Mrs. Ruthie….What great friends we became over the past years. It was so nice when I was in town to come visit you and we had those long talks, we discussed everything!
