Martha Jean Greenwalt, 90 of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Chambers Nursing Home. She was born July 10, 1928 in Manchester, Illinois the daughter of Russell and Cecile Duncan. Jean was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and her son, Stephen, her brother, Bob Duncan and her sister, Ruth Thompson and her parents. She is survived by her brother, Bill (Darlene) Duncan and her sister, Wilma (Keith) Collins, both of Illinois, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.

Mrs. Jean was our neighbor for 20+ years. Her and Mr. Harold were like family to us. My children considered her a grandparent.
As Lonoke County Veterans Service Officer I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Greenwalt and Mrs. Greenwalt. Both very special people. God Bless all who loved them.
