Jackie Eugene Larkan, 77 of Orange Park, Florida, formerly of Hazen, passed away September 6, 2018. He was born July 5, 1941 to Buck and Syble Larkan. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Larkan; sister, Linda Larkan and his son, Todd Larkan. He leaves to cherish his memory, his high school sweetheart and wife of 55 years, Mary Ashlin Larkan; his son, Lonnie (Cathy) Larkan; two grandsons, Zachary (Kelli) Larkan all of Orange Park, Florida and grandson, Bill Cusic (Mary) of Oahu, Hawaii and 7 great grandchildren; special cousins, Wanda Scott, Johnny Larkan, and James Weddle.
He will be missed by everyone he knew. Jack was a a kind and loving man and a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He retired from Entergy and Arkansas National Guard. He loved fishing and duck hunting with his best buddy, Harvey Sorrows. Jackie was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Hazen lodge, where he also served as past master.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Lonoke Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Jackie’s memory to Haven Hospice, 745 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida, 32065.
