Glenda Rebecca “Becky” Isbell

Glenda Rebecca “Becky” Isbell of Hazen was born February 18, 1942 and she died peacefully on November 25, 2020 at the age of 78 at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy; her parents, Pete and Emmaline Newsom and her brothers, Forest Mathis and Charles Edwin Newsom.  Becky is survived by her son, Jeff Isbell and wife, Freida of Hazen and her daughter, Jill Childress of Beebe; grandchildren, Ashton Gray and husband, Nicholas, Cole Isbell and wife, Mikah of Hazen, Brandy Snider and husband, Clay of Cooter, Missouri, Gracien and Larcien Childress both of Beebe and great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Calle Gray, and Khloe Isbell all of Hazen and Cameron and Emma Snider both of Cooter, Missouri.

She will fondly be remembered as “MeMe” and adored by her grandchildren. Becky spent many years greeting and visiting customers at their family business.  

Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 27, 2020 with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Calvary Baptist Church or the Hazen Cemetery.
