Gladys Lucille (nee) Milner Corpier, age 90 of Biscoe passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Alcoa Pines Nursing Home in Benton, Arkansas.
She was born January 8, 1926 in Hickory Plains, Prairie County, Arkansas to the late Edward C. Milner and Hazel Dearing Milner. Gladys was a member of the First Baptist Church of Biscoe. She worked many years at the Dairy Bar in De Valls Bluff, she then took a job at De Valls Bluff School as a beloved lunch lady and bus driver. She retired from De Valls Bluff school after 25 years of service.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, J.T. Corpier; brother, Leroy Milner; two sisters, Fay Parker and Betty Logan; two sons, Bobby McIntosh and Jamie Corpier.
She leaves behind five children, Larry Corpier and wife, Jennifer of Flower Mound, Texas, Fonda Prine and husband, Tom of Ketchum, Oklahoma, Pam Marsh and husband, Jerry of Farmington, Arkansas, Keith Corpier and wife, Linda of East End, Arkansas and LaDonna Taylor and husband, Toby of Conway; two daughters-in-law, Joyce McIntosh and Janice Corpier; ten grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Biscoe. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday evening at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Interment will be in the Biscoe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Robert McIntosh, Glen Corpier, Casey Corpier, Blayne Prine, Garrett Corpier and Travis Hackelton.

Nobody like my big sister. She was like my second mother in my youth. Her kids were my best friends. She showed me such kindness.
I am so sorry to here of Ms. Gladys passing. My thoughts and prayer are with you at this difficult time. It’s so hard to lose your Mother. I pray that God will help easy your pain.
So many, many wonderful memories and so much love involved when spending time with Aunt Gladys, Uncle J. T. and all my cousins!!
I am so sorry this sweet lady is no longer with us on earth but we will all be to see her in the future. God take care of each of you, her children and grands, and be with you tomorrow during and after her service. I am deeply saddened that I can’t be there for you.
