Fred Miller Stewart, born July 4th, 1931 to the late Elvie and Maude Works Stewart of Jonesboro Louisiana, passed away at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 13, 2026.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Atkins (Lonnie Cessor) of Little Rock; his son, Fred L. Stewart ( Lanette ) of Little Rock; 5 Grandchildren, Stacy Idleman ( Charles) of Missouri, Phillip Stewart (Tracey) of Colorado, Anthony Atkins of De Valls Bluff, Rachel Stewart of Little Rock, and Caleb Stewart (Hannah) of Little Rock; Two Great Grandchildren, Emily Tackett Roberts (Dale) of Kansas and Glenn Stewart of Little Rock; and One Great Great Grandchild, Thomas Roberts of Kansas
He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Ellen Fricker Stewart; one sister and two brothers.
Fred served his country for 20 years in the military with the U.S. Army and completed one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam before he retired.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 20th, 2026 beginning at 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. with funeral services immediately following beginning at 10:00 A.M. held at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen, Arkansas. Interment will be in the Hazen Cemetery.
