
Dale Allen Duell Jr., age 62, of Hazen, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Dale was born on March 16, 1964, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Dale and Judith Duell. He graduated from North Pulaski High School in 1982. On July 15, 1983, Dale married the love of his life, Lisa Guenther with whom he shared 43 years of marriage, building a beautiful life and family together.
Dale attended St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Tollville, Arkansas. Dale started his career of almost 20 years at Harry Saul Minnow Farm before joining Loomis Armored in 2005 to finish out his career working in the vault and driving a truck for 21 years.
Dale will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends and the many lives he touched throughout his life. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Judith Duell; in-laws, Donald and Fannie Guenther; aunt and uncle, Fred and Kaye Davis; niece Catye Sutton, and nephew Christopher Sutton.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Lisa Duell; daughter, Samantha Duell; son and wife, Matthew and Della Duell; and grandchildren Faith, Annabelle, and Ryan Duell. Dale is also survived by brothers-in-laws, Donnie (Cherilyn) and Timmy (Kim) Guenther; brother, Robert Duell; niece, Melanie (CJ), nephews Michael and Caden Sutton; and nieces, Jamie, Brayden and Brenlee VanHouten, Paige, Sloan, Storri and Riplee Culpepper; along with a host of other family members and friends that loved him dearly.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Duell, Donnie Guenther, Timmy Guenther, Jimbo Guenther, Todd Guenther, and Brayden VanHouten. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dillon Castleberry, Kirk King, Dustin Castleberry, Paul Davis, Ricky Guenther, Scott Guenther, Brandon Castleberry, Keith King, Gerry Lawman, and Craig Gates.
Visitation will be Friday, August 14th, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. held at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 15th, 2026 beginning at 3:00 P.M, held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Tollville, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Walters Chapel Cemetery in Carlisle, Arkansas. Memorials can be made to St Peter’s Episcopal Church in Tollville, AR, American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Dale’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace with his Lord and Savior.
