Everett Justus Adams

Everett Justus Adams, 89, of Hazen died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born in Hazen on June 28, 1924, the son of Everett and Laura Faupel Adams.

Everett was a 3rd Class Quartermaster Navy veteran on a LST 268.  He saw action in five battles in the South Pacific.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the Family Christian Fellowship Church in Hazen.

Everett is survived by Helen Adams of Sheridan, the mother of his three children; one son, Chip Adams and wife, Sharon of Hazen and two daughters, Cheryl Vickers of Hazen and Cindy Eagle and husband, David of Jonesboro; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Family Christian Fellowship Church in Hazen.  A private family burial will follow the service at the Hazen Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
