Clevella L. Mosby

Clevella L. Mosby, 70, departed from this life June 25, 2019. She was born to John Henry and Zenovia Mills on August 26, 1948. Clevella attended elementary school in Hazen, Arkansas and graduated high school from Biscoe, Arkansas. Clevella moved to Chicago and married her husband of 44 years, Thomas Mosby, Jr. There she attended Northwestern University , upon returning to Hazen, she and her husband settled down with their children. Clevella worked various jobs, most notably as a clerk at Stuttgart Hospital, as a substitute teacher for the Hazen School district, assisting others with paperwork and housing and most importantly as a stay-at-home Mother of five children. Later in life she was elected to the city council of Hazen where she served until her death. Clevella was an understanding Mother and a loving grandmother, who was willing to help make the community of Hazen a better place.

Clevella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Mosby, Jr.and her daughter, Cathi Mosby-Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Andrea (Charles) Williams and Christi Mosby; two sons, Peter Mosby and Jason Mosby. Clevella also leaves her grandchildren, Nekeisha (Daniel) Ramer, Samantha Jones, Mallory Walker, Haillee Jones and Jon T. Levy, her pride and joy.
