Dolores Ola Smith

Dolores Ola Smith, age 92, of Biscoe, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2026. Born on November 29, 1933, Dolores lived a life rooted deeply in faith, love, and family.

A devoted Christian and faithful member of Biscoe Assembly of God Church, Dolores faithfully served her church family for many decades. She was a church pianist, and also dedicated many years teaching Sunday School, sharing her unwavering faith and love for God.
Dolores had a servant’s heart, and was known as a wonderful cook. Alongside her beloved husband, Freddie G. Smith, she opened her home to many pastors and evangelists, always offering kindness, encouragement, and a warm meal.

In addition to being a loving homemaker, wife, mother, and Mamaw, Dolores enjoyed a successful career with Home Interiors and Gifts, where she worked as a designer and sales representative. Above all else, Dolores cherished her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 65 years, Freddie G Smith, who preceded her in death. Together they built a strong Christian home and a lasting legacy of faith and family.

She is survived by her four sons: Kent Smith, David Smith (Carla), Greg Smith, and Bruce Smith all of Biscoe. She also leaves behind ten beloved grandchildren: Brandon Smith, Micah Smith, Heather Brown, Caleb Smith, Brent Smith, Jordan Smith, Jade Bunnell, Adam Smith, Kayla Frazier, and Ethan Smith; along with twenty-two great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Dolores is also survived by her siblings: Shirley Overturf of Des Arc, Dawanna Keys of DeValls Bluff, Patsy Singley of Louisiana, Ronnie Dollar of Texas, and Joyce Blake of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie G. Smith; her parents, Sidney and Ola Mae Dollar; her daughter-in-law, Karen Smith; her great-granddaughter, Elly Jane Smith; her siblings, Dorothy Drew of Ohio, Lavoyd Dollar of Texas, Mary Sid Nail of Mena, and Elvis Dollar of Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Biscoe First Assembly of God Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biscoe Cemetery.

Dolores Ola Smith will be remembered for her steadfast faith and unwavering devotion to her family and her Lord. Her legacy will continue through her family and friends.
