William Ellis Edge, 93, of Hazen passed away May 2, 2018. He retired from Arkansas Power & Light after 37 years. He was a resident of Chambers Nursing Home and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Frances Edge; his parents, Cliff and Jesse Edge; one brother, one sister, one son-in-law and one step-grandson.
Bud is survived by two daughters, Tammy Edge of Hazen and Wanda Tiner of Stuttgart; one son, Ricky Edge and wife, Marilyn of Hazen; six grandchildren,
Ray Tiner, Tonya Fletcher, Taneesa Richardson, Eric Abrams, Brandy Hays, and Crystal Smith; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. , Friday, May 4, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church prior to the service at 11:00 A.M.
Burial will be in the Hazen Cemetery.
The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to Chambers Nursing Home for the wonderful care given their Dad.
With a life spanning nearly a century, Mr. Bud Edge left an amazing legacy
that is dearly cherished by all those who knew him. We already miss him,
but we know that fellow believers will see him again when we too shall cross over to the other side.
Our prayers continue for his family. May God’s Word and His Holy Spirit (the “Comforter”) provide strength, comfort, and assurance.
