Thomas Mack Isbell, age 72, of Hazen, Arkansas went to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born to Henry and Hazel King Isbell on June 18, 1941 in Hazen. Tommy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Becky Newsom Isbell; son, Jeff (Freida) Isbell of Hazen; daughter, Jill Childress of Beebe; four granddaughters, Ashton Gray, Gracien Childress, Carcien Childress, and Brandy Snider; one grandson, Cole Isbell; five great granddaughters, Isabelle Gray, Calle Gray, Khloe Isbell, Cameron Snider, and Emma Snider; one sister, Clara June (Jim) Bednar of Slovak; one brother, Larry Isbell of Austin and a host of family and friends.
Tommy was a life long resident and business owner of Isbell’s Wrecker, Radiator and Muffler Shop in Hazen for over 50 years. He loved hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Westbrook Funeral Home on Monday, June 2, 2014. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen by Bro. Christian VanHouten and Bro. Wayne Snider. Pallbearers are Travis Isbell, Randy Bednar, Jimmy Bednar, Ed Smith, Lindsey Smith, and Ted Burnett. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Lisko, David Duch, Danny Rieke, Buddy Sims, Russell Thompson and Calvin Bock.
Interment is in the Hazen Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
