Richard D. Griffin, 73, of Cabot went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2014. He was a Methodist, a Mason, a retired Master Electrician, a Vietnam veteran, and enjoyed his many years of work in the Boy Scouts of America.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Golda and Ethel Griffin. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Elva; children, Danny (Cindy) Griffin, Mindy (Stan) Beaver, and David Griffin; grandchildren, Toryn (Coy) Burns, Brooke Beaver, and Jennifer (Randall) Weddington; great-grandchildren, Ainsley Burns coming in March, Aubry and Caleb Weddington; sister, Loretta (Amos) Lawman, and brother, Bob (Para) Griffin.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Hazen Cemetery in Hazen, Arkansas.
