Phyllis Jeanette Phillips, age 77, of Carlisle, Arkansas, left this earth to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. Phyllis was born in Pangburn, Arkansas on November 11, 1948 to the late Charles Eli and Artie D. Pruitt.
Phyllis was preceded in death by both of her parents, Charles and Artie Pruitt; her husband, Leslie Wayne Phillips; her sons, Kenneth Wayne Phillips and Kevin Eugene Phillips; her brothers, Charles Pruitt and Dillan Pruitt; her sisters, Rachel Tubbs and Donna Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jeanette (Dale) Craig of Waterford, Mississippi; her grandsons, Thaddys Wayne Hearington of Waterford, Mississippi and Jacob Allen Hearington of Carlisle, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Keegan Lane Hearington of Carlisle, Arkansas, Emory Todd Hearington and Kennedy Jeanette Hearington of Hazen, Arkansas; her sisters, Brenda (Johnny) Crafford of Hutchinson, Kansas, Barbara (Kenny) Underwood of Holdridge, Nebraska; and brother-in-law, Hugh Tubbs of Hickory Flat, Arkansas.
Phyllis spent many years working at the dairy bar in Carlisle and later managing a convenience store also in Carlisle, where she met and got to know many people. Phyllis loved everyone and everyone loved her, she will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing she is with her heavenly father and living the best life possible now.
Funeral Services for Phyllis will be Saturday, June 27th, 2026 beginning at 10:00 A.M. held at Trinity Chapel Baptist Church north of Carlisle. Interment will be in Center Point Cemetery in Hazen.
