Mary Jean Stanley Lackie, 81, passed away on June 8, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. Born on July 13, 1944, in Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Penticoff.
Mary was a mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family above all else. She is survived by two children: her son, Roy Morgan, and his wife Kim of Opelika, Alabama; and her daughter, Tabatha Rodgers, and her husband Brandon of Stuttgart, Arkansas. Her love lives on through her six grandchildren: Keifer Morgan and his wife Jamie of Spring Hill, Tennessee; Jess Wilson and her husband Joshua of Auburn, Alabama; Zachary Partain and Jacob Cummings, both of Pocahontas, Arkansas; and Cameron and Cason Rodgers, both of Stuttgart, Arkansas. She was also “nanaw” to several great-grandchildren.
Mary is also survived by her sister, Francis Kincade, and her husband Kenneth of Aubrey, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two of her cherished children, Connie Partain and Kevin Dale Morgan, as well as four siblings.
A family graveside service was held to honor Mary’s life on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Hazen Cemetery. Mary will be remembered for the love she shared and the family she so dearly cherished.
