Marilyn Lou Tefteller, 72, of Carlisle passed away September 30, 2017. Marilyn retired from working for the city of Carlisle after 14 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and never missed one of her grandchildren’s games. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Tefteller; one son, Keith Tefteller of Carlisle; one daughter, Lisa VanHouten of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Ryan Simmons, Peyton VanHouten and Zac VanHouten; one brother, Eddie Moore; three sisters, Walsie Jennings, Charlene Highfill, and Peggy Lucas (Luke); a very special niece, Becky Majors (Jon) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Edison and Grace Moore; one brother, Wilbuen Moore, and three sisters, Loretta Seymore, Colleen Burnett, and Lucille Moore.
Visitation for Marilyn will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 followed by her service at 11:00 A.M., in the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen.
The family requests memorials be made to the Carlisle Athletic Association, East 5th Street, Carlisle,Arkansas 72024.

I’m SO sad to learn about Marilyn. My memories or her and all the Moore family go back many years and they are all good…each brings a smile to my face. My heart goes out to each of you with love and prayers. Having lost my sister I understand your grief, but there is a relief that they are not suffering now.
