Juanita Marie Gillioun, 97, of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas passed away on September 24, 2024. Juanita was born May 28, 1927 to William and Dolly Roach in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas.
She was a lifelong resident of DeValls Bluff and was always a loving caregiver to her family, friends and many others in the community. She was known by many as Grannie and made a huge impact on all who knew her.
She loved traveling, quilting and growing beautiful flowers in her yard. She was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas.
Juanita was preceded in death by both of her parents; her brothers; her husband of 56 years, William(Bill) T. Gillioun; and her son, William Gillioun. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Flanagan; two sons, Tommy Gillioun and Delmar Gillioun; 18 grandchildren; over 40 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; 16 nieces; and 5 nephews.
Services for Juanita will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 with a visitation beginning prior to the funeral at 1:00 PM and funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM all at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery in DeValls Bluff.
Arrangements are entrusted with Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen, Arkansas.

Sending prayers of comfort and condolences to the family of this precious soul. Although I wasn’t privileged to see her very often, the times I did were very special. She was always so kind to me and my children and a blessing to all who knew her. Rest in peace.
