Glen Edward Corpier, age 50, of De Valls Bluff, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born January 20, 1968 at Stuttgart Memorial Hospital to James and Janice Corpier. Glen was employed at Riceland Foods in Stuttgart. He was a lifelong resident of De Valls Bluff, who loved to hunt and fish. Glen graduated from De Valls Bluff High School in 1986 and then joined the Arkansas National Guard. He was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist church of De Valls Bluff.

Glen is survived by his wife, Samantha Corpier and two step-sons, Drake West and Dru Alberson of De Valls Bluff; his son, Blake May of De Valls Bluff; mother, Janice Corpier of De Valls Bluff; sister, Maryann (Travis) Hackelton of Roe and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Glen was preceded in death by his father, James Corpier and his grandparents, J.T. and Gladys Corpier of Biscoe, Martin and Gertrude McCann and Clyde King all of Carlisle.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, January 4, 2019 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in De Valls Bluff. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in De Valls Bluff.

    Wow,
    This is kind of rough I talked to Mr. Glen each and every single morning when I would pick up tickets at Co-gen (Riceland). Always nice and had something funny to say or at least I liked to hear him fuss about stuff. But really nice. Gonna miss your face at the corner end table of the breakroom. Rest Easy. Praying for the family…
