We mourn the loss of Elva Lee Griffin, 80 of Cabot. She passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. She is survived by her three children, Danny Ray Griffin and wife, Cindy of Hazel Green, Alabama, Mindy Beaver and husband, Stan of Cabot, and Richard David Griffin of Saginaw, Texas, and her brother, David Ray Lawman and wife, Ramona of West Helena, Arkansas. She had three grandchildren, Jennifer, Taryn, and Brooke, and 5 great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Caleb, Ainsley, Mercer, and Brody, and her beloved dog, Piper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Griffin.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles.
Visitation will be at 12:30 on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen with a private graveside service to follow at 2:00.
My heart just breaks to hear this sad news. You were a wonderful neighbor/friend. I remember all the good times we had from mowing the yard, sitting on the porch listening to stories you would tell me about your life, wanted my kids to come over and visit with when they got home from school, help feeding your chickens, dressing piper up. I sure gonna miss you. Sending love up to heaven for you and Mr. Griffin.
