Connie Lynette Eads Morton

Connie Lynette Eads Morton, 63, of Carlisle, passed away August 23, 2023. She was a graduate of Carlisle High School and owned and operated her own business consulting firm. Connie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, just enjoying life as much as she could with those she loved. Connie cared so well for all those around her. She attended the First Baptist Church in Carlisle and loved her church members and Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randell Morton.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Angie Pennington (Hunter); her grandchildren, Ashlyn Morton and Noah Pennington; her brothers, Terry, Jimmy, and Steven Eads and her best friend, Delta Issac.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Carlisle. Interment will be in the Old Carlisle Cemetery.

    Connie started as a consultant and ended as a great friend by helping me and others to provide better housing while improving the quality of life for hundreds of families throughout the State of Arkansas!!!

    She was a great person!!!

  4. To My sister in law Connie. I loved you so much and thank you for telling me about your babysitter Delta. I wasn’t sure how to find anyone to watch Matthew. I knew he was safe there. You were a beautiful lady with a kind and generous heart. I am so glad I got to have you in my family. You will be greatly missed.
