Charles Richard Tarter, 77, of Hazen passed away September 24, 2018. He was a former farm manager and a licensed Baptist minister. He is survived by his son, Bobby Joe of Hazen and sister-in-law Denise Tarter and nephew, Keith Tarter of North Little Rock. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Chloe; his parents, Arthur and Ruby Hardke Tarter; his brother, William “Butch” Tarter; and infant brother, Bobby Joe.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 27 at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Carlisle Cemetery.
