Carrie Susan Carter Beckwith

Carrie Susan Carter Beckwith, 57, of Hazen, Arkansas, was born on May 20, 1968, to Jerry and Carolyn Carter. She passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after spending her final days embraced by family and friends.

Carrie devoted her life to what mattered most—her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Jon, and a devoted mother to her sons, Blake and Logan. She poured her heart into raising her boys and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Carrie, Jon, and their boys shared countless cherished memories, especially during their treasured summer family beach trips that became lifelong traditions.

Carrie began her career as a beautician with a passion for fashion and beauty. She was known for her love of leopard print and her eye for style. She also had a deep love for reading and an extraordinary gift for words—she could outtalk just about anyone with her extensive vocabulary and keen sense of humor. Funny, quick-witted, and full of life, Carrie had a personality that instantly drew people in. To know Carrie was to love her—meeting her meant you were immediately her friend.

Carrie loved the Lord deeply and faithfully studied her Bible. She had a remarkable gift for Scripture and could quote nearly any verse you requested, offering wisdom, comfort, and encouragement through God’s Word to all who knew her. With unwavering faith, Carrie entered Heaven’s gates smiling, reunited in eternal embrace with her beloved son, Logan.

Carrie was preceded in death by her son, Logan; and her parents, Jerry and Carolyn Carter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jon Beckwith; son, Blake (Sydney) Beckwith; her cherished grandsons, Graham Logan and Baker Hayes; brother, Sammy Ray (Nancy) Whiting; sister-in-law, Tanya (Joe) Johnson; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Ricky) Duck; and nephews Austin Whiting, Barrett Whiting, Josh Johnson, Gage Johnson, Trevor Duck, Austin Duck, Parker Caviness, Perry Caviness, and Pierce Caviness. She is also survived by her dear cousin, who was more like a sister, Lori (Brad) Caviness, along with a host of cousins, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Carrie’s laughter, faith, warmth, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27th beginning at 
10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Tollville, with burial immediately following at Hazen Cemetery.
