Don D. Foot, aged 96, passed away leaving behind a rich legacy of hard work, adventure, and deep devotion to his family. Born on March 15, 1930, Don lived a full life marked by service to his country, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the outdoors.
Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for one year aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Valley Forge. Following his military service, he took his love for aviation to the skies as a crop-duster, a career that reflected his courage, precision, and strong connection to the agricultural community.
Outside of work, Don was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and a passionate sports enthusiast. He was a dedicated fan through and through, especially when it came to cheering on his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks.
He is survived by his 5 children: Jim Foot (Lana), Debbie (Foot) Henderson (Mike), Steve Foot, Phillip Foot (Martha), and Jennifer (Foot) Spees; and three step-children: Keith Kannard (Suzann), Kenneth Kannard, and Kaylen (Kannard) Denison (Jeff). Don’s memory will also be cherished by his 15 grandchildren: Jeremy Foot, Natalie (Foot) Bredeson, Jarrett Fitts, Laura (Henderson) Wilkins, Mike Henderson, Max Foot, Leslie (Foot) Marts (Alan), Joanna Foot, Whitney Jones (Nathan), Ruthie Rinehart, and Clay Kannard (Lauren), Kristen (Kannard) Knight (Michael), Jessica (Denison) Frausto (Jose), Rebecca (Denison) Neuenfeldt (Dan). Additionally, 28 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Delaney, Christopher, Zoie, Cooper, Beckett, Grace, Anna, Chance Bradley, Mason, Madie, Annie, Emma, Alexis, Kennedi, Trenton, Daylan, Adrian, Maverick, Langley, Joshua, Ava, Lila, Kian, Kristen (Michael), Mia, Jose, Julian and 2 great-great grandchildren, Adalyn and Olivia.
Don will be remembered for his steadfast presence, his love of family, and the high-flying spirit he brought to everything he did.
Funeral Services will be Friday, September 25th, 2026 beginning at 1:00 P.M. held at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
