Our loving mother, Elizabeth Hoover of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 after a long extensive battle with Alzheimer’s. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Burnice Hoover, her mother, Marie Mangold, her step-father, Earl Mangold, her brothers, Floyd Walker, and Bo Walker. Mom will be forever remembered by her children, Linda Carlson and her husband, Jim, Bob Hoover and his wife, Linda, Guy Hoover, Kim Kegley and her husband Kevin, her nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to give a very special thank you to Kimberly “Dawn” Sullivan from Home Instead, Mom’s caregiver for the last year and a half. The nurses and CAN’s from Arkansas Hospice especially Cathy RN, and Cathy CAN. You all touched our lives and most importantly Mom’s life in a very special loving way.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. and the service immediately following at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Carlisle, 215 East 3rd St. Burial will be later in the afternoon at Riverwood Memorial Gardens, 301 Carnahan Drive, Maumelle, Arkansas.
