Donna Faye Hawkins Alberson, 77, of Carlisle, Arkansas was born on January 28, 1949 and on January 28, 2026 she passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord, where she is now healed, whole, and walking freely once again. She is reunited in heaven with loved ones who went before her, free from pain and earthly struggles.
Donna was a loving mother, Nona, and friend. She had a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a deep love for her family. Those who knew her remember her strength, her perseverance, and the quiet love she showed through every season of life. She touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of love that will not be forgotten.
Donna is survived by her son, Dan (Angel) Gunn of Bentonville, AR; her daughters, Jennifer Gunn of Lonoke, AR and Lurecia (Matt) McDowell of Branson, MO; her brother, Dale (Carol) Hawkins of Carlisle, AR, along with five grandchildren, Lauren Gunn of New York, NY, Mason (Kirsten) Gunn of Bentonville, Hunter DeVorak of Lonoke, AR, Lindsey Jackson of Branson, MO, and River (Kaitlyn) Owens of Dewitt. Four great-grandchildren, Kylee DeVorak, Oliver and Hayes Gunn, and Sierra Owens of whom brought her great joy. She has two more great grandchildren on the way. She also leaves behind a slew of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother and father Dale L. and Virginia Faye Hawkins of DeValls Bluff, AR.
Above all else, Donna cherished her family. Her love and guidance will continue to live on through them, and her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those who loved her. While we mourn her passing here on earth, we find comfort knowing she is at peace, restored, and walking in perfect joy.
Donna will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
Services for Donna with be Saturday, January 31, 2026 with a Visitation beginning at 1:00PM and funeral service following beginning at 2:00PM held at the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen, Arkansas.
