Daniel Glenn (Danny) Pinkerton

Daniel Glenn (Danny) Pinkerton, age 69, of DeValls Bluff, AR, went to be with the Lord, on April 22, 2022.  He was born in Hazen, AR on April 27, 1952 to Floyd and Clara Pinkerton of DeValls Bluff.

Danny was a member of the class of 1970 of DeValls Bluff High School and his classmates were his close family.  He began working at Remington Arms on March 29, 1971 and retired on December 31, 2018 after almost 48 years of service.  His friends at Remington were his Big R family. 

Danny attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in DeValls Bluff until the pandemic of 2020.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Williams, two nephews, Glenn (Kelly) Williams and John (Sherry) Williams all of Biscoe, AR.  He is also survived by great nephews Sam(Shelby), Jacob and Landon Williams of Biscoe, AR and great nieces Becca (Cody) Anderson of Des Arc, AR and Cari (Lance) Prine of Hazen, AR.

Visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am in the pavilion at Oakland Cemetery in DeValls Bluff.

  2. I knew Danny 47 of his Remington years. He was indeed family to us all. He was a dedicated worker and a dear friend. He was respectful to all and always went that extra mile to help everyone. I will miss his face book post and his sense of humor. It was an honor to be considered his friend and co-worker. Rest in peace until we meet again.

    We first met mr Danny in Miss motley’s variety store me and cuz tommy had rode around town and we’re fixing to get us a candy bar from our coke bottle money lots of hey chuckies later we were at work one day and went back to the knitting room to “borrow “some bags to put our scrap in and looked up there was mr Danny ain’t changed a bit he always had a hey chuckie or if we needed anything we still owe him for about 600gallins of cleaning alcohol we borrowed over the years always had a smile on his face even when I accidentally cut a branch off his plant he didn’t even grrrrr we miss u brother
