One of the sweetest people that ever walked the earth. We are all better off by knowing you Daddy Charles. After spending some time with Mrs Lennie in heaven, please give Ott and Mary Berryman a hug from me. You shall be dearly missed!

Mr. Charles was my neighbor and friend. Visiting with him and hearing his stories of past events such as traveling across an ocean to driving trucks, and buses always had me spellbound. He always had a smile when he talked especially when he talked about his family. May you Rest In Peace, Mr. Charles♥️

Daddy Charles loved his Krisie and he had become a fast friend to many of us in Jonesboro over the past year. We will miss you; but are so proud for the time we got to know you. You loved us and were always happy to see and visit with us — especially Grayson! You will be missed ❤️

  4. Sorry to hear of Bro Charles’s Passing. He was my pastor many years ago. Loved him and the family dearly. He also performed the wedding ceremony for me and my husband at the Hickory Plains Missionary Baptist Church in Prairie Co. 60 yrs ago. Sorry for your loss, but you know where he is because he trusted The Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Thank you Jesus for dying for us on the Cross. Love and Prayers from Bro Vernon Bass and Linda Bass.

Daddy Charles was a great hero fighting for our freedom in WWII. We enjoyed having breakfast with him on Saturday mornings and he telling us stories of his life and sharing a positive attitude towards life. He truly was a person you smiled when you saw him coming to see you. He would always make a call to check on you. He will be truly missed, but we are blessed for having him in our lives. Rest well Charles, you lead a truly Godly life!!
