Carl Chester Williams passed away on January 7, 2022, in Augusta, Kansas: he was 92 years old. Carl was born 24 November 1929 in Des Arc, Arkansas to John Dalton and Gladys Pauline (Swink) Williams. He married Velma Jean Meistrell in 1953 and together they had 2 children: John E. and Carla Jean.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his 3 siblings: John Edward Williams, Lili Mae (Williams) Everett, and Linnie Ray Williams; his wife Velma Jean (Meistrell); his daughter, Carla Jean and 1 great grandchild. He is survived by his son, John E. Williams; granddaughter Dasha Marie (Taft) and 4 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Peppers Lake Cemetery, De Valls Bluff, Arkansas on October 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
