Annie Lee Robinson, 82, passed away February 19, 2023. She was born on January 28, 1941, in Dalton, Georgia to Ernie Williams and Maye (Bennett) Williams. Ann married the love of her life, Charles Robinson, on August 11, 1962, in Crossett, Arkansas. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother who took great care of her family. As the eldest of four siblings, she gained a lot of mothering experience early in her life. She loved to bake and was known by her family for her coconut and chocolate cakes. She loved to play Rummy with her grandsons who will tell you that she won most every time. Ann was faithful in sending cards to her family for birthdays and special occasions which brought her much joy. She loved to visit with her neighbors and enjoyed walking with them to get their “exercise.” She was an avid reader and enjoyed her crossword puzzles. Ann was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ann will be missed by her children, Debbie (Carl) Flemming, Sandy (Rob) Curtis; siblings, Don (Ruby) Williams, Carolyn Schmidt, Linda Sullivan; sister-in-law Ann McAdoo; grandchildren, Jon (Amber) Edge, Jacob Curtis, Ethan Curtis; great-grandchildren, Olivia Edge, Preston Edge; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robinson; parents, Ernie and Maye Williams; and grandson, Michael Edge.
Ann’s family and friends will gather Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:00 am at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen Arkansas. Her Community Farewell will follow at 11:00 am.
