  2. I am so sorry for this loss. I can’t think of a day or night on Sunday that he was not sitting in Calvary Baptist Church. I usually walked into church with him on Sunday nights. We parked at the same place .What a wonderful memory I have of him. He and Betty were our neighbors across the street when I was growing up. I can’t think of a day that my friends and I were not over their house. Betty would always fix us kool aide. He was a wonderful man and he will be so greatly missed. So sorry for this loss. May our LORD wrap HIS loving arms around you and give you comfort that only HE can.

I am so sorry Russell had to leave so early. Except for a few fishing trips and funerals; I have not kept in touch much. And now I wish I would have. Their was never a time that I did not enjoy his company and our conversations. He was a special person and well liked by all who met him. As the family greaves be in piece as there is no doubt he is with our Lord Jesus Christ.

As a remarkable man in many ways, Russell Thompson will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. He leaves a precious legacy that will be cherished for many years. He was kind, considerate, and courteous to others. As an automobile dealership service manager, he went the extra mile to help customers. Our prayers continue for Mrs. Betty and the family. May God’s Word and His Holy Spirit (the “Comforter”) provide strength, comfort, and assurance. Billy and Gail Booth
